Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you teach?

We welcome students from age 3 through adult. Our early childhood program is designed for ages 3–6, while private lessons are available for ages 5 and up. We have many adult students who are beginners or returning to music after years away.

How long are lessons?

We offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute private lessons. For young beginners (ages 5–7), we recommend 30-minute lessons. Most students thrive with 45-minute lessons, and advanced students benefit from 60-minute sessions.

Do you offer trial lessons?

Yes! We offer a free 30-minute trial lesson so you can meet your instructor, see our studios, and experience our teaching approach before committing. There's absolutely no obligation to enroll.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at the full rate. We understand that emergencies happen and handle them on a case-by-case basis.

Do I need my own instrument?

For piano, drums, and theory — we provide instruments in our studios. For guitar, violin, and other portable instruments, we recommend students have their own for home practice. We can help you find a quality beginner instrument within your budget.

Do you prepare students for exams?

Absolutely. Our instructors prepare students for ABRSM, RCM, and other standardized music examinations. We also support students preparing for school auditions, competitions, and college music program applications.
